 More Information

The Alamosa Christian Reformed Church desires to be a place where everyone can seek God's will, serve others, strengthen the family, and share God's truth with others.

Here at the Alamosa Christian Reformed Church we hope to provide an atmosphere and environment that equips and encourages believers to minister because we believe that EVERY BELIEVER MINISTERS!

Our Purpose Statement

In each of the five purposes listed above we strive to be a congregation which

  • Seeks God's Will
  • Serves Others
  • Strengthens the Family - and -
  • Shares God's Truth

Our Logo

  • Our logo represents our five areas of purpose as a part of Christ's Church: Magnification, Membership, Maturity, Mercy Ministry, and Mission. The five blocks are placed atop a larger block which represents the local congregation yet reaches outside it into the community.
  • The Central block to all of life is magnification and worship. It is colored red (as is the larger block) because it is within worship that we magnify and praise God for what he has done for us through the saving sacrifice of his Son Jesus Christ.
  • The top block is colored gold to represent the rich opportunity we have in being a member of the body of Christ within a local congregation.
  • The left block is colored green to represent the growth each believer receives when we are faithful n the study of God's Word in the worship setting, small groups, and personal devotions.
  • The right block is colored blue to represent the cup of cold water which is offered to those in need.
  • The final block is colored purple to represent the building of God's Kingdom through Mission and Outreach.
  • The entire logo is in the form of a cross which represents God's greatest gift to us: His Son Jesus Christ who came to live, die, and live again to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords so that we and people from the four corners of the world might live and reign with him.
