We all want to know how we fit into God's bigger picture and mission to the world and our community.  The Bible tells us that we are all gifted and wired to play a part in the greater body of Christ (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12).

It is important then for each of Christ's body parts to know what they are and how they function within the whole so that we may bring the message of Christ to the world.

It is helpful to know your SHAPE for ministry.  S.H.A.P.E is an acronym developed by Rick Warren for;

H. eart

A. bilities

P. ersonality

E. xperiences

In focusing in on these five areas we can get a good starting point for understanding who we are and how we fit into God's mission.  You see God has created you as a whole person with different interests abilities, a personality, Spiritual gifts and experiences that are unique for the work he is calling you to.

To help you get started we've included a website where you can take a spiritual gifts inventory and temperament survey.  Of course these are not definitive but are a good starting point.

Don't hesitate to go to the website and fill out the surveys.  Then send us a copy so we can get an idea who you are.

Temperament (personality)     This site lets you sign up FREE and take a personality profile.

These two surveys are a good start in being aware how your gifts and personality support one another.
