Worship at Alamosa CRC seeks to first and foremost glorify God through a participatory, worshipful experience. worship_praise

We seek to blend the best of the tried and true great hymns of the faith and those solid songs of todays contemporary worship scene. We realize that worship needs to span the generations while still holding to what is honoring and reverent to God.

Worship here is continually growing, transitioning and expanding as we develop our niche in this area.

Sermons are biblical, relevant and contextual always provocative leading people to respond some way to the message.

"Journey to the Cross"

In this season of Lent we are encouraged, or rather, challenged to take up the cross of Christ. When we do so we realize that we fall far short. Fasting from things whether food, TV, computer, or vices is a healthy practice that encourages us to focus on our need for God, to confess, repent, dig deeper in to scripture and grow in our prayer life -- all in preparation for Good Friday and ultimately, Easter.

Our sermon series follows the crucial points in Christ's journey to the cross. In the journey we find ourselves walking with him and discover that his story is ultimately our story as well -- by the grace of God we have found forgiveness, mercy and the focused mission of God.
