These are opportunities for Kingdom service in our community. If you come across something let us know so we can post it.
This summer is shaping up to be quite busy. There will be LOTS of service ministry going on through our church.
We are hosting a SERVE project with a large contingent of youth coming from around the country to work side-by-side in the community doing some building, painting and digging. Then our own folks go to a week long SERVE project in Grand Rapids MI.
CCSP (Christian Community Service Projects) is an arm of our church and is hosting 7 different groups, some as large as 60 people to work around our valley. Some of the projects are pretty intense and will be a blessing to some real struggling people in the area.
And lets not forget VBS which gets into full swing in the beginning of June.
Whew, I'm tired already!
The CROP Walk is Sunday April 25 beginning at 2 PM
Meet at the Alamosa Senior Center.
The disaster in Haiti should be waying heavy on all of us. They are estimating at this time that more than 500,000 people are expected to be dead. Many disaster relief organizations like Red Cross and CRWRC are taking immediate action sending people and relief. We can donate either as individuals or as a church body. I believe this is especially is our calling in these times.
For more information go to the CRWRC website and watch for updates here on the church website and through our calling system.
