Pastor
Pastor Merwin and Eloise Rylaarsdam came to us from Lynden, Washington in 2001. Their three children are grown and living in three states. Pastor Merwin graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa in 1975 with a music composition and education degree. After several years of teaching he felt the strong call of God to enter the ministry. he served several years as a pastor to youth. he served as a lay pastor in the Hillside Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford, British Columbia before coming to our church. He was ordained as a minister of the Christian Reformed Church in our congregation on July 15, 2001.

Youth Pastor
Pastor Matt Beckner was a self-employed carpenter for nearly 8 years befor he was called into youth ministry. He served as a volunteer Jr. High Youth Pastor in Monte Vista for 4 years until he was called here to the Alamosa Christian Reformed Church. Here, he served as a half-time Youth Pastor for the year of 2004. In June of 2005 Matt was hired on full-time. He and his wife, Brandi, have three daughters (Kenzie, Macy, and Makita). His vision for the youth of the church is to see a radical group of teens, on fire, ready to defend and share their faith through the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is currently continuing his education through classes at L.D.I. (Leadership Development Institute).
